a tasteful process

a tasteful process

What’s the value we, as humans, can provide other humans in the era of automation and AI?

You know, as I know, that we can’t delegate everything to AI; we’re not there yet. I don’t know if AGI is coming soon, but I do know it’s not here now (no matter what the CEO of Nvidia says).

How do we leverage it effectively without compromising our deliverables? There’s one answer: Common sense and taste.

Taste cannot be automated; we can define standards, or configure a good linter… But taste? That’s the main architectural driver of our lives.

My take is: define a good process, adapt it to your taste, use AI as you would any other tool in your belt, and keep working on your skills.
